Mrs. Cotton-Dunston is a Franklin County native who graduated from Bunn High School in 2006. She attended East Carolina University where she received her bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a reading concentration (K-12). She began her teaching career in 2012 at Bunn Middle School as a reading teacher and then transitioned to a 6th grade math teacher. She is currently teaching Foundations of Math 1 at Bunn High School. She is apart of the Franklin County Math Ambassador team and also served as a mentor teacher to beginning teachers in her building. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Drawing from a distinguished career in public service and education, Mr. Davis brings a wealth of leadership and diverse experience to any challenge. After serving ten years as a Sergeant of Marines, where he developed a foundation of discipline, strategic thinking, and teamwork, he transitioned to law enforcement. For the next decade, Mr. Davis served as a police detective, honing investigative skills and a deep understanding of complex systems.
Following a successful tenure in law enforcement, Mr. Davis dedicated fifteen years to shaping young minds as a public school teacher. During this time, he demonstrated versatility, instructing a wide range of subjects including science, business, social studies, and English Language Arts. This period solidifie he passion for education and a commitment to student growth. He then spent an additional ten years as a public school assistant principal, where he played a pivotal role in school administration, curriculum development, and fostering a positive and productive learning environment. After retiring, he came back to public education as a middle school science teacher.
